n 1946 Clyde E. Coller opened Jerry's Fishing Resort on Tawas Point. In actuality Jerry's Marina got its name from an unrecorded surveyors plat documented in the early 1900s. In 2001 the Hill Brothers purchased Jerry’s with the intention of keeping the tradition Jerry’s has generated for the past 70 years. Jerry’s continues to provide a warm and friendly environment for all of its customers and visitors alike. There have been many changes to Jerry's Marina over the past 70 years. Initially, Jerry's catered to the fisherman going after the famous Tawas Bay perch, with catches of as many as 200 per day! Back then we maintained a tackle shop, cottages, and numerous wooden fishing rowboats to service their needs.
