SALMON FISHING During the summer we can get silver, king, and pink salmon. Salmon fishing is more hit and miss than bottom fishing. All Salmon charters are roughly 4-5 hours. SALMON FISHING During the summer we can get silver, king, and pink salmon. Salmon fishing is more hit and miss than bottom fishing. All Salmon charters are roughly 4-5 hours. We plan to stay out for 4 hours, but build in the flexibility of up to 5 hours in case we are delayed due to weather, catching a lot of fish at the end of the charter, etc. Please do not book any important reservations (ferry, flight, dinner, etc) immediately after your charter. This longer trip allows enough time to hunt these magnificent fish. The pay off can be big but patience is necessary. For that reason it is not recommended for young children or for first time fishermen. Salmon charters are limited to a maximum of 6 per boat.
