Our founder, David, was born in Charlotte & raised on Lake Wylie. Some of his earliest memories were watersports on the coves of Lake Wylie with his grandparents, parents, brothers, and friends. David's grandfather taught his Dad to ski on Wylie. David's father taught him on Wylie, and now David is starting to teach his two young children. The BRUSA (Boat Rental USA) team all share his passion for boating. He founded Boat Rental USA to start renting boats to vacation renters and local Charlotte residents on Lake Wylie because he wanted to share that love for boating and watersports with more people! He knows how boating can create lasting memories and experiences and BRUSA wants to ensure more family's have that same opportunity. Boat Rental USA services all vacationers on Wylie. Travis and Stephanie are the founders of Boat Rentals of Lake Wylie. They love lake living and they want you to have as much fun as they do out on the water! Their love of the lake blossomed into a business where their goal is to provide their customers with a fun and hassle-free experience. The best memories have been made on the water and we are looking forward to giving each of our customers the opportunity to have fun in the sun on Lake Wylie! Stephanie grew up boating in the Long Island Sound on a larger cabin cruiser. Her family later moved to Lake Murray, SC where ocean boating turned into the Lake Lifestyle. Travis grew up taking fishing trips to Canada with his family. Later, he purchased a boat of his own, and spent his college and young adult years on the lakes throughout the Carolinas. The two would go out on the lake every weekend in the summer and their end goal was to live on the lake. Now owning and operating a fleet of boats, you can say that the rest is history!

Tega Cay Marina

Tega Cay Marina is located at the southern end of Lake Wylie, South Carolina in a beautiful and protected cove just 20 minutes from downtown Charlotte. Covered and open wet slips on the south end of Lake Wylie.  Fuel Dock offers 89 Octane gasoline with Ship's Store onsite carrying marine lubricants, boating supplies, beer, soft drinks and snacks. We have 14 Passengers Pontoons for rent and also stock basic fishing supplies.

Our marina offers 117 slips ranging from 18' to 26' as well as several jet ski slips right on beautiful Lake Wylie.We have gorgeous well manicured lawns as well as breathtaking views that would make a perfect setting for an event outdoors of any kind.

Michael Brunnemer, 24 years old, along side his mom Viviana, started renting paddleboards and kayaks through MyAloha a few years ago at Riverside Marina.  Rob Bennett, owner of MyAloha Paddle and Surf at Lake Norman, generously offered Michael an opportunity to go into business for himself and sold him the equipment.  He has offered not just his expertise in the rental industry, but also his unconditional love and support throughout the entire process.  Rob continues to send Michael business and mentors him every step of the way. Ralph and Anne Dickson, owners of Riverside Marina and Complex have given Michael a career as the Dock Master and as grounds keeper/assistant property manager at the Business Complex. Their generosity and support for Michael has been overwhelming.
