Up-north in beautiful downtown Madison. Surrounded by nature, this quiet lake is a mecca for paddling and the perfect place for the whole family to SUP, kayak, canoe, row, or paddle boat. Fish, paddle and play! Wingra Lake is a motor-free lake that is surrounded by the UW Arboretum. Wingra Boats makes getting out on the water with friends, family or by yourself easy and fun. Wingra Boats has been helping people enjoy the spring fed, natural Lake Wingra. Britthingham Boats was the jewel of the Parks in the 1900’s. After a period of decline, new life was breathed into the old beach house when Brittingham Boats opened in 2013. Brittingham has come alive as the downtown destination for all summer fun. Marshall Boats opened in 2017, and has brought new opportunities to explore Lake Mendota with easy paddles to Phesant Branch and Spring Harbor Beach, and opportunities to bring the whole family out on a pontoon boat
