We started with just 4 kayaks and a very loose idea of what a rental business meant. Little did we know, with some TLC and commitment, we were creating a magical upstate NY destination for outdoor fun and water adventuring! The Kayak Shak is a family run business. We’ve been at it for almost 20 years now. When we started we had no idea people would be so into the vision. We think it’s important to give people the opportunity get out on the water and enjoy the solitude, sunshine and fun that Saratoga has to offer from a new perspective. The Kayak Shak has been a family owned and operated business from the beginning and we pride ourselves on our attentive, lighthearted customer service with our unique fun filled flair of good vibes and chill music. We want everyone to come and have a relaxing, good time!
