Our founder, David, was born in Charlotte & raised on Lake Wylie. Some of his earliest memories were watersports on the coves of Lake Wylie with his grandparents, parents, brothers, and friends. David's grandfather taught his Dad to ski on Wylie. David's father taught him on Wylie, and now David is starting to teach his two young children. The BRUSA (Boat Rental USA) team all share his passion for boating. He founded Boat Rental USA to start renting boats to vacation renters and local Charlotte residents on Lake Wylie because he wanted to share that love for boating and watersports with more people! He knows how boating can create lasting memories and experiences and BRUSA wants to ensure more family's have that same opportunity. Boat Rental USA services all vacationers on Wylie. No Refund will be issued for any early returns regardless of weather.
Note : If we cancel your voyage because of inclement weather, we will reschedule. We do not provide partial refunds for multiday rentals. This is why our prices are so low! Any local will tell you that afternoon showers are commonplace here in the South.
If we determine the weather is safe for your rental fleet to launch, and inclement weather ensues, upon return of the boat you will be charged a minimum of 2 hours and refunded for the remaining time.

Fantastic service and great day of boating! Wilson and Sam were wonderful to speak with. The boat was not in its best shape because the renters the previous day broke a few things but it didn’t effect our day.
