Chewalla Creek Marina was originally founded in 1983, Eufaula was booming, the fishing was great and the lake even received its nickname as “The Bass Fishing Capitol of the World”. Many legendary bass fishermen have launched their boats down the concrete boat ramps at the marina, names even as big as the great Tom Mann. Now, 35 years later, we are looking to once again make Lake Eufaula and Chewalla Creek Marina a hot spot on everyone’s map. Matt Headrick, the new owner of Chewalla Creek, is from LaGrange, GA where he owns a company by the name of GLL Marine which is a marine construction company and also a retail store featuring fishing tackle, kayaks, and many more outdoor accessories.
