We are located inside Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort and situated right on the banks of an 11 mile lagoon. Our convenient location to nature and the resort on Hilton Head Island allows guests and visitors to be as active as they want to be. A South Carolina salt water fishing license is required to fish in the lagoon system. Fishing licenses are available online at www.dnr.sc.gov through the S.C. Department of Natural Resources. Fishing in the lagoon is for guests staying at Palmetto Dunes. If you are not staying in Palmetto Dunes, you are able to fish by renting a kayak or canoe from Hilton Head Outfitters during normal business hours.
