Arnold's Marine was founded in July of 1975 by Tom and Peggy Arnold. Originally, it traded under the name of Raystown Marine in Everett, PA. Tom had previously worked at Long Level Marine in York, PA and loved boating. When Tom and Peggy got married in 1975 they moved to the Raystown area and went into business for themselves. They move to the present location in April 1977 and changed the name to Arnold's Marine Sales. They started with one small building located on the property formerly known as the Tussey Mountain Saddle Club. Over the next few years they added a number of rooms on to the existing building. They lived above the business and Tom was always available to help people with boat problems. Whether it was 6:00am or 10:00pm; if you had a problem Tom would help you. He built a really good reputation over the years for his honesty, workmanship, and his sense of humor.
