Captain Mike Bonfils moved to Alaska in 1998, formed Alaska Adventure Charters in 2004, and purchased Big Jims Charters in 2006 Alaska Adventure Charters in Juneau Alaska’s main business was operating the Alaskan Star, a 1991, 57′ pilot house motor yacht. We ran charters with up to 6 guests, April to October in Southeast Alaska, the west coast of Canada, and the inside waters of Washington State. We offered sight seeing, whale watching and fishing with our all-inclusive charters. Big Jim’s Charters in Juneau, Alaska’s main business is operating 6 pack fishing charters from Auke Bay, Alaska on boats set up for day charters from May to October.
