We require that anyone who is not familiar with capsize recovery skills stay close to shore, in a specific area, when they are renting our kayaks and paddling on Casco Bay.Casco Bay is a dynamic environment with swift currents, cold waters and heavy boat traffic in areas. Taking safety seriously is paramount. Please be prepared to have a "safety talk" with our staff when you arrive and be aware that we may place limits on where you can paddle based on weather conditions and your experience level.

If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%.
Renters who cancel at least 14 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%.

Reservations for rentals are not required, but on busy days we often run out of boats or SUPs.
If you are sure you are going paddling, it's a good idea to make a reservation.
It's especially important if you have a large group or a preference for a particular boat or board.
Note : We will offer the option of a full refund if we decide to cancel your booking due to weather conditions. We usually do not cancel tours due to overcast skies, cool temperatures or scattered showers (the seas are often especially calm and pleasant during these conditions), but we do cancel when winds are too strong, when there is steady, heavy rain, or when sustained thunderstorms appear likely. We will call you as soon as possible if we cancel your trip and we will give you a choice between rescheduling or receiving a full refund.
Please keep in mind that the weather along the Maine coast is unpredictable and quick-to-change. Forecasts made several days in advance are very frequently inaccurate, and it is very common for a single summer day to include several hours of ideal conditions and several hours of very poor conditions.
