This beautiful linear park site lies along the banks of the Fox River between Barstow Street and Moreland Boulevard. Many landscape features and hardscape improvements have been added to the park over the last several years. A pair of paved pathways wind in a 1.7-mile serpentine loop throughout the park. These paths are separate and accommodate both walkers and bikers. Frame Park is extensively landscaped. The Fox River divides the park’s landscapes into two distinct areas. The east side of the park is quite formal with spectacularly planted specimen trees, as well as perennial and shrub beds. The west side of the park emphasizes a more natural river edge landscape, which also utilizes flowering plant beds and individual trees.
