A family-owned and operated business since 2003, North Bend Outfitters was originated by Bryan and Erica Backus. They had the foresight to create a rental service for the North Bend State Park during the construction of the lake. In 2013, Andy & April Law and Doug & Shirley Jackson, being lifetime residents of Harrisville, purchased the business from the Backus's and have hopes to continue to provide outfitter services that Bryan and Erica have provided since the lake originated. During the year of 2013 a new boathouse was constructed for easy access to the lake. In the winter months a pontoon boat was completely refurbished, to be christened for 2014. Kayaks and Bicycles are also being added to the line-up. So whether you're looking for an afternoon excursion, a vacation or something special like a family or class reunion, we've got the gear and expertise to help you enjoy the great outdoors, we hope.
