Chatham Sailboat Rentals, located in South Chatham, MA, right on Ridgevale Beach, is Cape Cod's best destination for waterfront sailing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), as well as expert-led boat tours and lessons. In conjunction with the Ridgevale Beach Snack Bar, a family owned and operated business for more than 60 years, our location gives you convenient access to the kid-friendly beach and expansive creek, plus a range of top-notch Hobie Catamaran, Sunfish, Kayak, and Stand-up Paddleboard rental and tour options. Sailing guests enjoy complimentary beachside parking, and all rental rates include life jackets, rigging, launching and de-rigging services to ensure a fun and hassle-free day by the sea.

Pleasant Bay Community Boating

In 2003, John Dickson was a teacher at Harwich High School. Alarmed by a rash of teen suicides and concerned about the lack of recreational opportunities for local kids, he wanted to offer a productive and positive alternative. John was joined by a group of volunteers who believed in the idea of making boating affordable and accessible to residents of the Pleasant Bay communities. These local boaters – drawn from members of Chatham, Stage Harbor, Orleans, Stone Horse, and Monomoy Yacht Clubs – believed that the privilege of boating shouldn’t be reserved for the privileged. Our group had all the ambition in the world but few resources. In fact, we didn’t even have a permanent address – just a small pick-up truck that served as an office. But, as word spread about PBCB and its mission, the community joined our efforts: area residents donated six Daysailers and Nauset Marine contributed three 13-foot Boston Whalers. In 2004.

Captain Don Cianciolo has been fishing the waters of New England for over 40 years. He currently holds a United States Coast Guard 100-Ton Master’s License. The Laura-Jay is a Custom 31’ Duffy Sportfisherman outfitted for serious fishing. We are located at the Sandwich Marina at the East End of the Cape Cod Canal in beautiful Sandwich, Massachusetts. Located only 60 miles from Boston and 60 miles from Providence, Sandwich Marina is ideally located for daytrips as well as vacationers. Why spend hours stuck in Cape Cod traffic when we are only 2 miles from the Sagamore Bridge? We offer 1/2 day and full day in-shore charters as well as extended offshore adventures. Our Goal aboard the Laura-Jay is for our customers to relax, have a great time, and catch lots of fish. We want our customers go home happy, with plenty of stories, and return each year as old friends.
