Seagull Outfitters & Cabins
12208 Gunflint Trail, Grand Marais, MN 55604, United States - 48.1594355 -90.868392Seagull Canoe Outfitters is very much a hands-on operation. Debbie is more than just the owner and manager. . . she is also an experienced canoeist who has paddled these routes many times over the years. She and her canoe outfitters and staff use their first-hand information to advise you on the details of your trip. Debbie and her staff will make sure that all your needs are taken care of. This includes details such as double-checking all the food and gear that they pack for you, and going over your trip details with you. When you are miles out into the wilderness, you can’t afford to be missing crucial items that somehow weren’t included in your pack. At Seagull Canoe Outfitters, nothing is forgotten, and all equipment and gear is the finest available. As an example, we upgraded all cook kits from aluminum to stainless steel, and added small cutting boards.

Trout Lake Resort
789 Trout Lake Rd, Grand Marais, MN 55604, USA - 47.8661119 -90.1759659At Trout Lake Resort you’ll find a small resort on a pristine trout lake. You will be tucked away in the wilderness setting of the Gunflint Trail, yet only 16 miles from Grand Marais and all that the shoreline of Lake Superior has to offer. Our lake shore cabins are steps away from the water, yet tucked in the trees to give you privacy. You can cast a line from the shoreline in front of your cabin, and you can bring your boat on shore. Our hill top cabins are close to the lake with views of the forest and the lake. They are nicely spaced and have a wonderful “woodsy” feel. Kids love it at Trout Lake Resort. There’s a swimming area by the dock, a play area, and a fire pit for sharing the day’s stories. There’s also a sandy bottom beach on the east side of the lake. And, of course, catching fish is always a favorite! Children under age 3 are our guest.
