Cheryl Beckmann, a retired physical education teacher of 30 years, rented 4 wheel quadricycles to families with small children, and older adults, who might not otherwise be able to enjoy the park trail. With a simple recipe of hard work and customer service, what started as a weekend past time became increasingly popular with park patrons, and eventually evolved into Creve Coeur Lake Rentals. Amusingly known as “the lake lady”, Cheryl now operates her rental venue out of a gazebo on the beach on the southeast end of the lake.
