Carolina Boat Rentals at Ramsey Creek Park

This 46-acre waterfront park features a swimming area, boat launching and docks, a playground, picnic shelters, nature trails, fishing pier, enclosed dog park and a volleyball court. Picnic shelters are available for reservation along the shores of Lake Norman. Individuals and families planning a trip to the swimming beach will be able to visit daily throughout the summer in May until Labor Day between 10am - 7:30pm. Lifeguards will be on duty during beach hours. A free shuttle will operate from Cornelius Park and Ride lot (20300 Sefton Park Road) to Ramsey Creek Beach on weekends and holidays. The shuttle will run every 15 minutes from 9 am - 8 pm. Beach goers who use the shuttle will have free access to the beach. Throughout the summer, a park entrance fee will be collected.
