Hi, I’m Dave, the owner of Kayak Hilton Head, Inc. I’ve been working on the beautiful waters of Hilton Head since 1995. Since then, I’ve been teaching visitors to our island all about the dolphins, birds, oysters, salt marsh and many, many other interesting things about our island. Over the years I’ve found kayaking the best way to do this. We can easily get up and close with nature as the kayaks move quietly through our Hilton Head waters so the wildlife doesn’t feel threatened. This is a great activity for beginners, families and experienced alike. Our goal is to provide a leisurely, fun, and educational experience. We have all kinds of interesting stories about the wildlife and our island. We’ll even let you in on the secrets about the locals favorite places to eat.

I started the business in 2010 with my brothers, just 6 jet skis and a whole lot of learning to do. Fast forward a few years to a doubled fleet, new additions to our family (my wife and son) and we continue to learn every day. About a year ago we decided to close on Sundays in honor of the Lord and, among his countless other blessings, He oversees our continued growth. We have big dreams for Sea Monkeys and we can't wait for you to join us for the ride! We're a Christian family company and we take pride in our quality of service and professionalism. Our families have been in this area since the 1920s, visiting the Bluffton Fish Camps and Rose Dew Landing for recreation and fishing. Our grandfather, an avid fisherman, always taught us to appreciate the water. As kids, if we complained about eating seafood, our grandfather told us, “Well, you better learn to like it because if times get hard, that might be all we have to eat”. We listened and learned to respect our waterways for all they give.
