Stander Marine

Our grandfather, William Stander, began Stander Marine, Inc. in 1912 selling, repairing and storing boats for many boating families on Lake Leelanau. Our father, Charles "Chuck" Stander, continued the tradition of making summer boating on Lake Leelanau enjoyable for the many families who had come to rely on the many boating services Stander Marine, Inc. offered. And now, we too are proud to be third-generation (fourth-generation during the summer!) Standers at the helm of Stander Marine, Inc., providing all-year service to Lake Leelanau boaters and surrounding inland lakes and to the winter snowmobiling families.
