We moved to Vashon Island in 2011 and realized we had landed on an island paradise. There may not be palm trees and tropical breezes but the natural beauty and the sense of community is second to none. We knew we wanted to share the magic but protect the environment too. Vashon Watersports was our first island business - kayak and standup paddle board rentals in Quartermaster Harbor. We offer guided tours, hourly rentals and classes in a protected harbor for all ages & experience levels. For those wanting a little more adventure, we offer kayak camping options and point to point paddling. Greenlake Boathouse

The Greenlake Boathouse is an independently owned boat rental operation established in 1974. Part of each rental goes to the Seattle Parks Department. When you support us, you support Seattle Parks. Our goal is to provide fun and safe water recreation while at Green Lake, one of Seattle’s most beloved parks. The Boathouse is located along the 2.8-mile path around the lake that provides a perfect recreational spot for runners, bikers, walkers, and of course, boaters and swimmers alike.
